I am recent college graduate from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida. I am a few months into my first job as a reporter at the Madison County Journal in Ridgeland Ms. I have been inspired by many journalist who looked beyond the surface and took risk. These journalist include: Bernstien and Woodward, Nellie Bly, Leon Dash, Jessica Mitford, and Martha Gelhorn. I also admire Gary Ghioto, and Bruce Swain two professors who are passionate about the power of written words.
